The turn around of the Coffee Cup

 

It looks as though a certain party want to build on the success of the plastic bag which was introduced last October 2015.

Certain Coffee shop owners would not be against a 5p charge (another hidden tax) on disposable coffee cups to cut the number being thrown away by urging customers to bring their own re-usable one.

To consider the following:-

Do you think there is value in a fresh cup of coffee?

Do you see a new cup of coffee as a treat?

Does a new cup make a difference?

Will the service be just as good?

The party has not said whether its proposed charge would apply just to larger businesses, in line with the carrier bag charge, or to all businesses, but it is not waiting for a change in the law to impose a 5p charge on disposable cups used at its annual conference in September.
